Seattle Counselor's Association is a professional community of counselors serves the entire Puget Sound region. They provide resource information for those looking for a counselor as well as information on therapy groups and workshops.
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with 150,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.
The Association for Play Therapy is a national professional society formed in 1982 to foster contact among mental health professionals interested in exploring and, when developmentally appropriate, applying the therapeutic power of play to communicate with and treat clients, particularly children.
